Brad Evans, U23 Dunedin
It will be the Otago University students first Southland tour. He has however competed in numerous editions of the Yunca Junior of Tour of Southland with several overall podiums.
Goals are for several top 10 stage results and to place as high in U23 classification as possible.
He hopes to gain experience with ridding a week long tour for future international racing seasons.

Tour debutant Jeremy is solid mountain bike rider that has shifted focus to the road this year.
Goals are to get through each day as it comes and getting to the end of the tour up right.
Previous Results
His best Mountain bike national results is 11th in pro-elite.
He also has international experience competing in the Red Centre enduro in Alice Springs with an overall placing of 14th and highest placing of 6th on stage 2.
Jonathan Atkinson, Auckland
This will be the current Auckland Road champs 6th tour, In 2001 he won a stage and in 2007 was 3rd in sprint ace competition.
Kyle Wood, Timaru
Also a tour debutant. Kyle has had a number of strong mountain bike results over the last 2 years in 2010 he was the master marathon champ, During the 2011 season he finished the NZ Mountain Bike cup 3rd overall pro-elite, with 2nd place in round 4.
Tour goals are to have a good ride in the bluff hill & the crown range stages, try get into a few breaks & to help the team out & most of all enjoy the experience of riding the tour for the first time.
Tim Rush, Oamaru
This will be his first time riding the tour and he is really looking forward to it, and seeing how things go against the other teams. Has been racing road for the last year.
His best previous result is in the 2nd Solo in the Naseby 12hr mountain bike race.
Travis Kane, Invercargill
One of our more experienced ToS riders he started road cycling in 1998 after a near fatal cycling accident with gas tanker in 1997.
This will be his 12th Consecutive year competing in the Tour of Southland, Completed on all 11 previous occasions.
Goals are to come another step closer to Brian Fowlers record Tour entries.
Overall he would like to get out there amongst it wind the top kiwi guys up and put a little wind through his hair.
